Combing the Desert

So there I was trying to search for “The Code” trying to figure out what I could do to make sure that the code runs perfectly after hours OK maybe 20 minutes I had what most alcoholics would call the moment of clarity.

I found myself giggling just a little bit because the thought came into my head Ohh one of my favorite movie quotes Spaceball’s when Dark Helmet turned to Colonel Sanders and told him “We were told comb the desert so we're coming it”

Then moments later dark helmet found anything to the first group they replied, “no Sir nothing yet" turn to another crew “found anything”, “those are nothing yet” he finally asked the third crew “found anything” out there which they replied “we found sh*t”

And that's when the proverbial light went off. After all that time looking for “The Code” I still haven't found it. But I did find what I was missing it was the quotation marks. Lol

That helmet is awesome.

Spaceballs is one of my all-time favorite movies. A buddy of mine and I actually made our own little Spaceballs spoof on VHS back in the day. I really need to dig up that tape one of these years.

Fun bit of trivia: the guy who delivers the classic "We ain't found shit" line is actually Tim Russ, who went on to play Tuvok on Star Trek: Voyager. I've seen him interviewed where people say they don't recognize him from Star Trek, but they recognize him from Spaceballs. Cracks me up every time.

Still waiting anxiously for Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money.

There are so many great scenes in Spaceballs.  One of my favorites is:
Dark Helmet: "How many assholes have we got on this ship, anyway?"
(The entire bridge crew stands up and raises their hands)
Entire Bridge Crew: "Yo!"
Dark Helmet: "I knew it! I'm surrounded by assholes!"
LOL!!!
