Because of your teaching on video and me hanging around I recived the best compliment ever. I did a database 5 years ago at a job. I was chatting with one who still works there and he told me that they are still using the databse.
Thank you for sharing that story, and congratulations on building a Microsoft Access database that truly stood the test of time. It sounds like your hard work made a lasting impact, and that is no small feat. Remember, great databases are like fine wine - they just get better with age.

But, like fine wine, if they start off with problems, it gets harder and harder to fix them!
I am working on a simple database I made years ago for Christmas cards, presents, addresses etc. I send one card per family addressed to the "head of the family" but not to the individuals in that house. Then presents, messages etc.
I originally gave the main "person" table a name with the year in it, now importing and updating new addresses is a MESS! So I'm fixing it using your "import and update vendor products" as a base.
The best thing is that I understand what I'm doing now and, with difficulty, what i tried to do then.
And it all goes back to your video courses and Techhelp videos. Thank you!
