A few days ago I mentioned that I was a bit under the weather, and a lot of you have checked in to see how I'm doing. I really appreciate that. I'm happy to report that nothing serious is going on. It's just one of those annoying, garden-variety colds. The kind where you spend most of the day sniffing, feeling a little foggy, chugging DayQuil, and wondering why walking across the room suddenly feels like an away mission.
It has slowed me down a bit, I won't lie. I've spent less time in the Captain's chair than usual, and there have definitely been moments where my energy levels felt like the dilithium crystals needed a good realignment. But I'm getting better each day, and still making progress, even though I feel like I'm running at impulse power.
In fact, I did manage to finish recording a new Developer class, which is always an accomplishment. So even though the ship has been running at slightly reduced power, the mission continues.
Give me another day or two and I should be back at warp speed. Until then, I'm staying hydrated, getting some rest, and trying not to sneeze directly into the plasma conduits.
Thanks again to everyone who checked in. Your concern is very much appreciated.
Kenneth you know that feeling when you are walking across fresh-cut grass, or a greenhouse, or a meadow, and you get a nose full of pollen and your body decides it's time to fire a full spread of photon mucus torpedoes? That kind of garden. I've had to clean off my monitor twice today.

Your website seems to be under the weather too. It's giving me a variety of connection errors.
Really? I've got multiple alarm systems and none of them have gone off. No other user complaints today. Could be on your end?

It's been going on for days. The error pages are coming from your web servers, and it keeps asking if I am a human after I haven't been active on the page for a bit. Long delays to connect after shift+F5.
That's very strange. I haven't been getting complaints from any other users. The asking if you're a human screen, that comes from Cloudflare, which is my web security service. But it shouldn't be that aggressive. Maybe once per session I've got to think it's something on your end. At any given time there's 30 or 40 people on the website.
