The way to find out about our place in the universe is by examining the universe and by examining ourselves - without preconceptions, with as unbiased a mind as we can muster.
The captain is once again behind schedule. I had every intention of getting today's TechHelp video with an Extended Cut recorded. It's planned, prepped, and ready to go. Unfortunately, this week has been one of those where real life keeps barging onto the bridge and rewriting the mission orders.
The good news is nothing's wrong. I'm just running behind. The extended cut is now scheduled for tomorrow, and Quick Queries will follow on Saturday.
Thanks, as always, for your patience. I know a lot of you look forward to these videos, and I appreciate you sticking with me when the occasional temporal anomaly throws the schedule off. Scotty always said he could give the captain his engines on Tuesday, but somehow Starfleet kept asking for them on Monday.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to see if I can squeeze about 36 hours of work into the next 24. If anyone knows where I can borrow a time crystal from the Klingons, let me know.

Just shake it off, and take a deep breath, don't beat yourself up, we'll still be watching. Then start anew tomorrow.

Richard when you take a break, I have a "disco" video you can watch that will re-energize you! LLAP!
Jerry yeah, that's a good, healthy attitude to have. I try to have that attitude with my fitness and weight loss as well, and it's like, alright, I screwed up. I had a couple of pieces of pizza tonight and a beer. Don't let that derail the entire program. Just shake it off and do better tomorrow.
It's the same thing with work. If life gets in the way and I can't get a video finished or I don't have time to finish customer service, you're right. Just get some sleep, shake it off, and do the best you can the next day.
I just like to keep everybody posted about my progress so people don't send me emails worrying that something's wrong if I miss the Quick Queries on a Friday or something like that, which I really appreciate. I love the fact that you guys notice and care.
