We are all connected; To each other, biologically. To the earth, chemically. To the rest of the universe atomically.

Just received my new books from Amazon.
The books also have sections on GitHub Copilot and GitHub Resources.
Looking forward to following along with the examples.

Oh, sweet. Let me know how you like them. One of these days I'll get back into Visual Basic programming. I just never have the time these days.

One advantage in using VB.NET is that it can write both desktop apps and web apps.  And yes, they can share some of the same backend code since they are in the same language, making it easier to convert from one to the other and maintain them.  While "Access Web App" ended up a failure, VB.NET makes converting a desktop app to web app a viability.  But alas, Microsoft has stopped promoting VB.NET, and has been pushing C# as the language for web app.  If you look for books on VB.NET web apps, most were written 10-20 years ago.  I checked out sample pages of the books Kevin mentioned above, and they seem to cover only desktop apps.

I just checked, and both of those Kiong books are available for free with my Kindle membership. Not that I have time to actually read them right now. Anyhow, I added one of them to my Kindle reader, and I'm just browsing through it real quick. It looks pretty solid, kind of basic, but that's what its name implies. It's a beginner's guide.

Looks like this one's on there too. There's a lot of stuff in the Kindle store for free. Well, it's not free. You pay a monthly fee for it, but still.

I have bought from the Kindle Store in the past and they are great (and cheaper), but I still prefer a good old-fashioned paperback.
