OpenAI has begun rolling out GPT-6 with Intelligent UI in ChatGPT. Answers can combine text with interactive diagrams, comparisons, charts, buttons, and small tools that work inside the conversation. Users can ask for a calculator or explore an explanation by changing inputs and seeing what happens, according to OpenAI's October 7 announcement.
GPT-6 can also start answering while it continues thinking or using tools, then add findings without requiring another prompt.
The rollout began October 7 for Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise in the Chat tab. OpenAI lists October 8 as the start of the Free and Go rollout. Enterprise access depends on administrator settings, and rollout timing means the feature may not appear for everyone immediately.
Intelligent UI supports Instant through Extra High reasoning. The Pro reasoning option continues to use GPT-6 Astra and does not support Intelligent UI. This release leaves the models in Work and Codex unchanged. See the ChatGPT release notes for those availability details.
