Today is a sad day. We've lost another great. Sir Patrick Stewart, our beloved Captain Jean-Luc Picard, has passed away at 86. This one hurts, especially.
Star Trek: The Next Generation came along at a time in my life when I really needed someone like Picard to look up to, and that character has been a part of my life ever since.
I'll put together a proper Captain's Log soon to pay tribute to the man and what he meant to me and so many others.
