OpenAI has increased the Work and Codex usage included with ChatGPT Pro plans. Its October 29 release notes say Pro 100 and Pro 500 now include twice their previous allowance for these tools.
OpenAI also canceled the Pro 200 reduction announced in September. Subscribers who already had the higher allowance keep it. Starting October 29, Pro 200 subscribers on the lower allowance receive twice their previous Work and Codex allowance, bringing them to the same limit.
For people using ChatGPT to work on documents, spreadsheets or coding projects, the change provides more included usage on the affected plans. The announcement concerns Work and Codex allowances; it does not announce unlimited use or a doubling of every ChatGPT limit. See OpenAI's October 29 release notes for the plan-specific details.
