I would like to see how templates are used to make the database look easier to use. Also, how to create tasks and future notifications from your database to let the user know when a task should be done.
Reply from Richard Rost:
Templates are just pre-designed databases that someone else has already set up for you. I don't spend a lot of time covering the templates that come with Access. I teach you how to build YOUR OWN databases.
I do cover creating your own MENU system in Access Beginner Level 7. This makes the database much easier to use.
Tasks and notifications are a bit more tricky. I covered creating a task system in my older Access 206 class. You really need macros or VBA programming to do these right. I'll be touching on this again soon.
