Weekly Access Hangout
By Richard Rost   Richard Rost on Twitter Richard Rost on LinkedIn Email Richard Rost   7 years ago

microsoft access podcastI've been thinking about hosting a weekly, half-hour Access Q&A session of some kind. This would be a live web broadcast (probably via Google Hangouts which you could watch on YouTube). People could email in their questions ahead of time and/or chat LIVE while I'm "on the air" each week. If you're interested in something like this, tell me what you think:

1. Would you tune in to watch this?

2. What days and/or times of the day would be best for you (remember, I'm in the Eastern US Time Zone, so UTC-4).

3. What kinds of topics would YOU like to see covered?

Right now, it's just something I'm thinking about as a fun side project. I listen to a lot of podcasts myself, so I'm hoping that a lot of you would benefit from (and enjoy) something like this.

Your thoughts?

weekly access hangout is a great idea but since we are all busy and our time frames may not fit, you can do so Rich on your own convenience and just post it.. if you can staggard the time at different time of the day based on previous subcribers' recommendation and just post the time. Read More...

This is a great idea. 4PM and on, Central Time, is good. I think it would be best, however, to record the episodes so people can watch later. Especially for the west coasters. And you idea of sending you emails would cover the people who are not able to watch live.

Oh Boy!  I am so excited!  Just don't forget to let me know when and time!  I am mountain standard and because of my day job, evenings are definitely my choice.

I will just have to figure out what/how Google Hangouts and uTube works first.  lol.  My kids probably know. Read More...

I would like to see how templates are used to make the database look easier to use.  Also, how to create tasks and future notifications from your database to let the user know when a task should be done. Read More...

Very interested depending on quality.  I have attended many G+ Hangouts and some have quality issues which make it very difficult to stay focused on the material.
