I just ran into a problem. I knew I shouldn't have trusted the Attachment data type in Access. I've been preaching against it for years, and I finally decided to give it another try. And it royally !@#$ed me. So now I'm switching to saving pictures and files in a FOLDER under the database folder which is what I should have done in the first place. I figured it would be a small simple database, so storing a few small photos couldn't hurt. NOPE. Details will be in the videos because I'm leaving all of this in there. The lessons are good for the logic AROUND the images and the family tree. Just don't use Attachments to store them!
