Thanks, Richard.  I am trying to paste a link between two workbooks as follows:

1) Open Excell 2007
2) Open File 1
3) Open File 2
4) Select & copy cell in File 1
5) Select destination cell in File 2 and do a "Paste Special"
6) On the "Paste Special" popup, the "Paste Link" option is greyed out.  No matter what I do, the "Paste Link" action is not available.
