my resume was scanned by copy machine and emailed to me.  When I opened the file there are many text boxes all over the document.

I am unable to cut and paste my resume to a new document.

What can O do to refomat my resume

Sue, it sounds like the software that was used to scan your resume created the text boxes in order to place the text exactly where it thought it needed to go. Older scanning OCR (optical character recognition) programs are especially bad at this.

I'm afraid the only thing you can do would be to copy and paste the text out of the boxes and reformat the document yourself.

It might be faster to just retype it. :(
