Where can I find the Gamma symbol in Word? Answer from Richard Rost:
In Word 2007, on the Insert tab, Symbols section, click on the SYMBOL button. Under the (normal text) font, go to the subset GREEK AND COPTIC. You'll find the Greek letter GAMMA in there. Just click on it and click INSERT to add it to your document. I'm sure it's something similar in Word 2003 and earlier (Insert > Symbol).
