I want to lay out a book in WORD such that odd numbered pages have the page numbers on the right and even numbered pages have the page numbers on the left so that the pages can be bound back to back as a book (with the page numbers always being at the outer page edge). I can find no way in WORD to set this up. Can you help? Thanks very much.

On the Insert Tab, in the Header & Footer group, drop down the Header option box and pick which style you want. Then, once it's open and the Header & Footer Tools tab appears, check the box that says "Different Odd & Even Pages." Now you can set up different page numbering schemes for your book. Just make sure you're in the right header section (odd/even).
