I have a manual I've created in Word with in-document hyper links and those work great. Now I'm embedding a screenshot of another document that I'm hyper linking to. My question is, when I send this out to faculty, will the external document hyper link still work?
Thanks for any help!
Answer from Richard Rost:
That all depends on how the hyperlink is set up. If you're JUST referencing another document that's in the same folder as Doc1, then you should be OK. However, if you've got a full pathname in your hyperlink, like "C:\My Documents\Somewhere\Doc2.doc" then the link will most likely not work when you open it on another computer.
