Yeah, I've got a little time for that. The oldest customer in my 599cd database is from 2002-10-23, but he hasn't logged on to the site since 2012, so he's probably gone.
Before I actually built a database to track my sales, I actually used an Excel sheet... which is perfectly fine. Model your data needs in Excel or even on paper or index cards until you see what's going on. Then, once you reach a few hundred records, move it to Access. I wasn't sure 599cd was going to take off, and it didn't at first, the first month was slow. I think I had like 12 sales the whole month. Then I started doing PPC ads (pay-per-click) on About.com (remember them?) and it took off by December! So, bottom line, the date I imported all of those records into Access is 2002-10-23 (my real 30th birthday, no less). All of the initial records have the same date/time stamp. I could probably go back and figure out exactly WHO was the first customer, but none of them are still around, so that's not important.
The oldest CURRENT customer in the database who has logged on THIS YEAR (in 2022) has a birthday (DateCreated) of 2002-12-22, so I have until December to get that 20-year badge ready. That honor falls on Rupert Bennett.
The oldest current active MEMBER (TechHelp, Learning Connection, MYOLP, etc.) is Doretha Jones with a 599cd birthday of 2003-01-01.
As far as the Admins and Moderators go, here are all of your 599cd birthdays:
2005-02-18 Kevin
2010-02-19 Alex
2014-04-30 John
2016-02-15 Scott
2020-05-29 Adam
2020-07-08 Juan
2022-01-12 Dan
So yeah, Dan... couple more months to go until you get that 1 year badge. :)
