Date Formats USUK

I am having issues with Dates. My Regional settings are setup to UK. My tables Date/Time fields are showing UK examples when set to "General Date". Running VBA code for now() and debug.print is showing the UK style date. If I use Now in a query string the dates are entered into the table as US style 01/11/2023 instead of 11/01/2023 dates. I have tried wrapping the Now() in a format() but that made now difference. I tried saving Now to a variable and then using the variable in the query string but made no difference.

Within the table if I select using date picker the dates entered by the query are showing UK style eg 01/11/2023 date picker show 1st November.

Any help would be much appreciated

Sorry to say but that is a well known issue within Access.  Mostly because MS is U.S. based and therefore biased.

Take a look at the ISO Date Format and ISO Date Addendum 1 videos.  This is precisely the reason Richard switched over.

Thank you Scott. I'm not sure I'm in a position to take that leap as a lot of other things will be affected.

I did have a bit of success (still need to test properly) with using

Date$ & " " & Time in the query string where previously I had Now.

This appeared to put in the date in the right format in the database table
