The Blue Yeti close has a richer sound, but still has some background hum. However the Tonor has no hum when on the Noise Reduction mode. I think that it depends where you are comfortable speaking. If you do not mind the microphone close to your mouth then the Blue Yeti sounds better. However, if you use the microphone at a distance of over 1 foot away then the Tonor mic with noise reduction on is the way to go!
