Hi Alex, thanks for the reply. I've never really user Access before. But once I do get this dat from the web, I need to do calculations on it - would Access let me do that? I thought it was just a database/

Yes. Access lets you store AND manipulate data. That's what queries and forms are for. :) Watch Access 101 and it will explain everything.
