The cosmic perspective reminds us that in space, where there is no air, a flag will not wave - an indication that perhaps flag waving and space exploration do not mix.

How can I send a Tip to a person with a MOD badge that is not listed on the Tip Jar page?

E.g., Juan C Rivera

I'll tag Rick to see if he can update the page, or maybe Juan doesn't have a PayPal account, not sure.

Juan, there isn't one tip jar like there was when I first started it. Now every one of you has your own. People tip you directly. So if you want to be added to the list, give me your PayPal info. Two people have already asked to tip you.

Juan, it is great to see that ultraism is alive and well.  People like yourself are what gives me hope for the future.

That said, some of us want to show our appreciation in a more tangible way.  Like my aunt and mother used to say, "Allow me to do what I can while I can, for there will come a time when I will want to do but will not be able to."  Allow people to thank you in their own way.

You can always donate the cash to a charity if you so desire.  Just remember, a rain drop does little by itself, but collected can feed a village, harnessed can power a nation, and uncontrolled can carve a mighty river.

Michael, you make me proud to be a Canadian.
Your aunt and mother should both get the Nobel peace prize.

Juan, you are a fine person. The world needs more people like you.

All the volunteers are great. We are lucky to have them on the site. Thanks again.

FYI, I live in Canada with my Partner, but I am an American -- US Army Staff Sergeant (Retired) with multiple combat tours.  I deeply love my home, I just love my Partner even more.

Thank you for your service, Michael. I love Canada too. I lived the first 40 years of my life in Buffalo NY. Spent much time in Ontario. Toronto is probably my favorite city. And RUSH is my favorite band, so that makes me an honorary Canuck, right?

Road trip anyone? (+ a plane across the water first) :)

Yeah, I've been meaning to get up there. My fiance has never been to Canada. I tried taking her up a couple of years ago, but the border was closed when we were visiting Buffalo, so that was a no bueno. She's never seen Niagara Falls either, so I'm thinking to do that and then road trip up to Toronto, take her to a Blue Jays game, maybe the CN Tower, stuff like that. This summer of course... too friggin cold up there this time of year, eh?

This year has been very mild in Toronto. I have only had a real winter coat on about 5 times.

Mild for me is like 65 degrees F - or 18 degrees C (that's Canadian, eh?)

Awe come on Alex, you can swim 'the pond'.  It's just a bit of water ... LOL  ;-D

This has been a crazy winter up here.  The cold spots have been mild, and the normally mild spots got hammered HARD!  Generally the 'nicest' months are June through September.  That said, growing up just west of Chicago, I learned early how to enjoy all four seasons, and here in Canada we get 6, the usual four  plus construction and Hockey (the national pseudo religion).
:-D

I here you Stephen.  Here in Winter-Peg (Winnipeg for the non-canucks), we only had 2 days for the ice roads, and 9 for the river trail.   Our snow and ice sculptures melted before they were finished.  A most disappointing season for sure ehh?

Juan.  You definitely earned it.  Wish the work rules would allow me to do more.
