It is as impossible to withhold education from the receptive mind as it is impossible to force it upon the unreasoning.

The Eclipse

I had the opportunity and the pleasure of traveling to Dallas, Texas for the eclipse. It was an amazing spectacle. If you ever have the chance to experience totality yourself, I highly recommend it, especially if you're a science nerd like me. I've seen eclipses before, but never totality, and so this was breathtaking. I literally was tearing up.

My fiance and I went to the Perot Science Museum, and there was just something cool about being surrounded by hundreds of other people who were equally in awe of the experience. The shouting from the crowd, and cheers of excitement gave me goosebumps. I think this might turn me into an eclipse chaser, so I guess it's time to start making plans now to go to Spain in 2026. LOL.

We didn't get to see much more of the city as my fiance wasn't feeling great for most of this trip, and she's still not 100%, but it was still a fantastic experience. We got to see penguins while we were there too; we went over to the Dallas Aquarium. We have a thing for penguins. They're wonderful creatures.

As far as business stuff goes, I finally got through all of your customer service emails today that were accumulating over the weekend. I brought my laptop with me, but I just didn't have a chance to sit down and do any work. But everyone who was expecting an answer from me should have gotten it by now.

I know there was one person who has emailed me a couple of times over the past week and was upset that I hadn't gotten back to him, and I had answered each of his emails. So make sure you always check your spam folder, especially since I use a Gmail account, and a lot of corporate mail administrators block free email addresses like Gmail or Yahoo. I've been using Gmail for 20 years, and I have no plans to stop using it. Yes, I have a company email address, but I prefer using Gmail, so always check your spam folder.

If it's not in your spam folder, then check with your IT guys - you know, the same IT guys that hate Microsoft Access, right? LOL. Okay, time to make some more videos. Live long and prosper, folks.
