Thx 4 the videos. They've served as reminders to concepts I've learned and also taught me new stuff on occasion. Keep it up!
I've used a version of the following in various designs of my Donation Retreival Info System for >20 yrs and, in each design, it's worked beautifully. In this one, however, I can't find the bug.
My SQL is as follows:
SELECT tblPerson.fldID, tblDonation.fldDate, tblPerson.fldFirstName, tblPerson.fldLastName, tblPerson.fldStatus, _ tblPerson.fldCode, tblDonation.fldMethod, tblDonation.fldAmount, tblDonation.fldRemark, tblPerson.fldFamSize FROM tblPerson INNER JOIN tblDonation ON tblPerson.fldID = tblDonation.fldPersonID WHERE (((tblDonation.fldDate)>=Forms!frmSearch!txtStartDate And (tblDonation.fldDate)<=Forms!frmSearch!txtEndDate) _ And ((tblPerson.fldCode)=Forms!frmSearch!cmbPersonCode));
I can't figure out why this query won't run from the form (through tapping a command button). Will you please help?
Button code:
Private Sub btnGenerateStatement_Click()
' Open Donation report DoCmd.OpenReport "rptDonation", acViewPreview, , , acWindowNormal
End Sub
is tied to the query, but generates a blank report.
Hi Sam. Your SQL by itself really doesn't tell me anything. I'd need to see your data. Make sure your form and field names are all spelled correctly. Could be a dozen issues.
