Computer Learning Zone CLZ Access Excel Word Windows

If I live a day and I don't know a little more than I did the day before, I think I wasted that day.

I did have some Access crashes. Not sure if it was this bug or not.
I'm thinking perhaps, maybe the update on June 11 may have fixed my issue, Not really sure.

Yeah, I was getting some weird crashes too before I left for vacation last week. It was on my Access "server" database, which is basically a PC workstation that runs an Access front end that does the maintenance on the website, processing orders, sending emails, that kind of stuff.

I had it set before to restart the database once an hour as a safety measure because I know that if the database runs too long in a loop, it tends not to work well or has a fit and crashes. Usually, I wouldn't have any problems unless it ran for over 24 hours or so, but I figured an hourly reboot would be wise.

Recently it would crash after, like, 40 minutes or so - it would start having weird errors pop up. So, I reset the reboot timer to 30 minutes, and since then, I haven't had any problems. But I wonder if this was related to that issue, so I might try setting it back to 60 minutes after the next update and see if that goes away. I didn't think I made any changes that affected that.

That explains all the strange problems I've been having the last few days.
Some of the recent problems include slow form loads, textboxes that won't allow entry (as if disabled), freeze of forms that requires a shutdown of Access and a need to decompile every hour or so to make code work.

The funny thing about this bug is that I have three really big and complex databases that I use for running my business that I've been building for years. They're crazy complicated, and none of them have had any problems. But the really, really tiny, simple TechHelp template that I use for my videos is the one that crashes all the time. Go figure, why is that a thing?
