Attachment Data Type

So one of the things I've been trying to do lately is to come up with some interesting trivia, like an Access trivia tip of the day kind of thing. As you saw yesterday, Chad GPT gave me some information about Access being in the movie Twister, which we can't verify.

So, I asked it again today for a trivia bit of information and it gave me this...

Microsoft Access includes a unique data type called the "Attachment" data type, introduced in Access 2007. This data type allows users to attach files (such as documents, images, and spreadsheets) directly to their database records. This feature makes it incredibly convenient for users who need to keep all relevant information, including external files, linked together within their database. The Attachment data type supports multiple files per record, which can be added, edited, and removed without bloating the database file size excessively.

Yeah apparently wherever it's getting its data from doesn't truly understand how to build Access databases and that you should almost never use the Attachment data type.

Evil Access Stuff

I'll keep trying and maybe one of these days I'll get some useful trivia LOL. The Magic 8 Ball thing a couple days ago is kind of neat that's the kind of stuff I'm looking for.
