Light Duty

Hey folks. I'm back in the office today, but I'm on light duty. Gonna try to get thru the weekend's customer service emails today.

The fiance and I went up to St. Augustine this past weekend to see Ultimate Rush Tribute. They rocked. Great trip. However, we also brought home with us a nasty flu. I'm coughing up lung butter and have no voice - half from being sick, and half from screaming at the show, still. LOL.

Needless to say, I know the TechHelp queue is empty after today, so I'm going to try to get a video recorded tomorrow, and then after that it's the Independence Day holiday weekend here in the states (sorry Alex), so I might just take it easy, get better, and come back with a vengeance on Monday. At least I can get a bunch of videos prepped, which takes almost as long - if not longer - than actually recording them.

LLAP

It's worse today. Sorry folks. I have zero voice, fever, chills, sore throat, etc. Staying in bed today.

Spent the day in bed yesterday. Sucks. I've got one of those "you're freezing... oh now you're on fire" flus. Hacking up lung butter. Mmmmm.... delicious. Well, I feel better today than I did yesterday, so that's a plus. Hopefully I'll get my voice back this weekend. Enjoy your July 4th festivities folks. Me... I'm thinking about a Star Trek marathon. I do have to finish watching Discovery... don't know if I can bring myself to, though... it's awful. LOL

Too bad you can use AI and artificial voice to do the video :D.  Maybe Picard, Kirk, Spock, the TNG Computers voices, heck Data or Evil Lore :D.  Sisco (why not), Janeway.  Which reminds me... Espresso.... Hot.

Welp... still sick, no voice, and to top it all off, my damn tooth fell out. Yep. A few months back, I had a crown put on a tooth that was root canaled a while back. I was eating a nice, soft piece of chocolate, and the whole damn tooth came out. So, it looks like I'll be back in the dentist's chair Monday... if my damn flu is cleared up by then. FML.
