Choose Your Own Adventure

Here's a really cool use of AI. It's called Amnesia. It lets you pick a topic or a time period and then run through a choose-your-own-adventure style game with it. Super cool. I've already wasted an hour playing it. LOL.

I picked "topic" and typed in "D&D style basic adventure." I get...

You start in The Kingdom of Enria in Year of the Crimson Moon, 843 AC

The coolest thing about it is that it's also an educational tool, so the right pane teaches you about things. Now this is a fantasy setting, but if you pick something like ancient Rome, it will teach you stuff relevant to the topic.

You can pick from their list of options, or type in your own. I typed in "Inventory. What am I carrying?"

You open your small leather satchel and take stock of your belongings. Inside, you find a well-worn map of the Kingdom of Enria, a rough-hewn dagger that looks like it has seen many battles, a pouch of coins sufficient for daily expenses, and a small, intricately carved wooden token bearing an unfamiliar emblem. As you examine the token, you sense that it might be significant in some way. The background noise of the market fades slightly as you focus on the emblem, trying to recall where you might have seen it before.

Yeah. That was a project that I was really into, but once I started it, I realized it would take a LOT more time to set up than it's worth.
