So I just checked out OpenAI's new tool to let people create short videos with just a text prompt. It's called Sora, and it's pretty darn cool.
I created this video with a simple prompt in about 10 seconds. My prompt:
A red dragon in the style of Larry Elmore (D&D) perched atop a building in downtown Manhattan breathing fire into the sky and looking menacing. He should be sitting on top of the building. The camera should be up in the sky looking down on the city (over the dragon).
It then generated two different scenes which I then blended together (again, with a single click).
And this was just a quick video. I've looked thru their library of other videos and it's amazing what you can do with just a few sentences. Mark my words: it's going to come to a point where whole movies are generated this way and traditional actors are no longer needed.
Aw man. Yeah, I had to wait too. I was on the waiting list for a couple weeks even though I'm a paid user. I get the $20/mo ChatGPT subscription because I use it a lot. Just use a VPN. LOL.

After 599CD, $20 to ChatGPT is the best investment ever.
