There are no limits when you are surrounded by people who believe in you, or by people whose expectations are not set by the short-sighted attitudes of society, or by people who help to open doors of opportunity, not close them.

WalkThru - Download Video Player

As of April 2013, we no longer support the Amicron Video Player. You may download and use it, but we will no longer be supporting it. Click here for instructions on how to download your video files directly.

IMPORTANT: Before taking the time to download and install our Video Player software, we STRONGLY recommend you try watching your lessons in our Online Theater first. It's very easy to use, has all of the features of the Video Player Software, and doesn't require you to install anything. The only reason you need to download our Video Player Software is if you cannot watch your lessons online (you have a bad Internet connection, or you want to watch the lessons while on an airplane, for example).

If you purchased one of our courses on CD-ROM and it was shipped to you, simply put the CD in your computer and the software should automatically begin installing. You don't need to download anything additional from the web site, unless there is an optional software upgrade available. Click here for details on installing your courses from CD.

The first step is to log on to your 599CD account. Look for the Logon button on the menubar across the top of the screen, just below our logo. You can also click here.

NOTE: Use the email address and password you provided when you placed your order with us. If you have lost or forgotten your password, visit our Account Information Center to get a new one. If you are not a customer yet, and just want to try out the Theater to see if you like it, you can use the link on the very bottom of the web site in the "Try Us" section (or just click on that link).

Once you are logged in, you should see a new menu bar appear, starting with your name on the left. You should also see the message "SUCCESS!" and our welcome screen. It should look similar to what you see below. We make minor changes to the site from time to time, but this is basically it:

Now click on the link that says Account Info, or My Account in the menu bar.

You should see the Main Menu, menubar, and a Welcome message.

Click on the Video Player link.

This will take you to the Amicron Video Player Download Page (or you can just click on that link right there). Click on the big blue DOWNLOAD button.

Internet Explorer will ask if you want to run the program or save it. Select RUN the program.

If you're using FireFox, you will have to select Save File, then save the setup file to your desktop (or your downloads folder) and then manually double-click it to run the setup program.

You will see the program download. It's not that large so it shouldn't take very long.

Internet Explorer will tell you that the "publisher could not be verified" and will ask you if you're sure you want to run this program. Go ahead and click on Run. This is just because 599CD has not purchased a "digital signature" to verify our software. It's perfectly safe.

Next you'll see the Windows Vista or Windows 7 User Account Control warning that says a program is being installed. Go ahead and click on Allow. If you're not using Vista or 7, you won't see this.

Our software will now begin installing on your computer. You will see this welcome screen. Click Next.

Read over the license agreement (standard software license - nothing fancy) then if you agree to it, click I Agree

You will see some files being copied, some churning and bubbling, and you should see this screen asking you to Exit to Windows to Open the Video Player. Click Open the Video Player. Note, you may be asked to restart Windows here.

This part is very important...

When the software loads for the first time, you will be asked to register. This is important for a couple of reasons. First, it gets you on our mailing list to be notified of any new releases, but most importantly, it allows you to automatically log on to your account on our web site and download your courses without having to type in any passwords. You'll see how in a moment. For now, type in your name, email address, and the password you used when placing your order. Make sure you're online when you click Submit.

If for any reason you skipped that step (above) and didn't register your software, then click on the REG (Register) button at the bottom of the video player to do so now. If you don't register your software, you'll need to manually type in the individual course installation passwords for EACH course you purchase. More on this later.

Next, you should see the following welcome video, and hear me saying "congratulations, you have successfully installed the Amicron Video Player." If you don't see the video or hear any sound, check our Troubleshooting section.

If you are also online and connected to the Internet when you install the software (which I highly recommend) you will also see an additional welcome message pop up to the right of the video. This is where the interactive student forums will appear while you're watching lessons so you can ask questions, see what questions other students have asked, and read answers!

Go ahead and close this Video window and you should see the Main Menu.

Right now, there are NO videos loaded into your computer. All we have done so far is download and install the player software. It's like buying a CD player without any music CDs to listen to. This is why I recommend you do this while you're connected to the Internet - because we can use the Video Player program itself to download and install your video lessons.

If you are online when you run the Video Player, you will also see this window appear to the right of the course list...

Notice the first thing on top of this message window. It says there is an update of the software available, and you'll see a listing of what changes have been made. I routinely make bug fixes and add new features to the software, so you definitely want to install any updates if they're available. All you have to do is click on the yellow bar at the bottom of the window that says, "click here to download software update."

You will see the Video Player connect to my web site and download the latest update. Again if you don't want to have to deal with updating software and downloading files, then consider using my Online Theater to watch your lessons right in your web browser.

When it's finished, the Video Player will automatically restart with the latest version.

Now we want to log into your 599CD account on our Web site so we can start downloading your courses. Click on the My Account button in the bottom-right corner of the window.

This is why it's important for you to be online, and to enter your 599CD email and password, because now you are logged on to your account, and you can access all of your courses quickly and easily. Notice the User Account Information screen loads up inside the Video Player.

You are now ready to continue by Download Your Courses... (click on that link to continue)
