SummaryToday's video from PowerPoint Learning Zone is packed with a variety of important topics. First, I am going to introduce you to working with drawing and objects on your slides. We will go through the drawing toolbar more thoroughly so you can get comfortable using its features. In addition, I will spend some time on the picture toolbar and all its options, giving you a deeper understanding of how to manipulate images in your presentations. We will talk a lot about images, including how to apply grayscale and automatic coloring settings, as well as how to rotate and crop pictures right inside your slides. You will also learn more about the slide sorter options, which can help you manage and organize your slides more efficiently. I am also going to show you how to use slide transitions to give your presentations a more professional look. This session includes plenty of helpful tips and tricks. For example, I will show you how slide timings work, how you can set your slides to automatically advance, various pen and pointer tools you can use while presenting, and some useful keyboard shortcuts. I will also show you several practical strategies to make your presentation delivery smoother and more engaging. Please note that this course builds on the material from PowerPoint 103. I highly recommend that you complete PowerPoint 101, 102, and 103 before starting with this class. I am teaching using PowerPoint 2003, but almost everything I cover today will apply to earlier versions such as PowerPoint 97. Just keep in mind that while some features might be found in slightly different places or menus in those older versions, the core functions have been around for quite a while. My advice is to sit back and watch each lesson in full first. Then, play through the lesson again while trying the examples on your own.
