Intro In this video, I compare the sound quality of the Blue Yeti and Tonor microphones for my recording setup, testing both on different stands and at various distances. You will hear samples from each mic and can help me decide which one works best by leaving your feedback in the comments.
Transcript Okay folks, it's me again. I have a Blue Yeti mic and I am trying to figure out which is best for my setup. Thanks again to all of you who have given me lots of feedback and offered to send me equipment. I appreciate it again, but I think we have a winner with either one of these two.

I'm going to leave it up to you, so post in the comments. This is the Blue Yeti mic, and this is the Tonor mic on a boom stand. I am not using the default stand it came with. I brought it a little bit closer to my mouth.

Yes, I could get a boom stand for the other one too, I guess. But this is the Tonor microphone. See how you like the quality of this one. Is my voice rich enough? Should I put on my announcer voice - Welcome to another...

Okay, so this is the Tonor mic. And here I am on the Blue Yeti microphone, which is sitting on its normal stand next to my laptop. Here is where it would be if I brought the Blue Yeti closer to my mouth on the boom stand, so see how this sounds.

Here it is back to normal distance on the desktop stand, so see which one of these you like. I do not know, just me listening to this after I recorded it just now, I kind of have a favorite but I do not want to skew the results, so you tell me which one you think your favorite is.

Finally, here I am once again back on the Tonor microphone. Which one do you like? Which one sounds better? Tell me in the comments and I should make a final decision, hopefully this weekend.

Thanks, guys.

Summary Today I am comparing two microphones for my recording setup: the Blue Yeti and the Tonor mic. I want to express my appreciation again to everyone who has provided feedback and offered equipment suggestions. Your help has been invaluable, but at this point, I am down to choosing between these two microphones.

I would like your input to help make the final decision. The Blue Yeti mic is set up on its usual desktop stand next to my laptop, while the Tonor mic is mounted on a boom arm instead of its default stand. With the Tonor mic positioned closer to my mouth, I am interested in how its sound quality comes across to you. Does my voice have the fullness you would expect? Should I go for a different vocal style, like an announcer's tone? Let me know what you think of the Tonor's sound.

Switching between the two, you can also hear how the Blue Yeti performs both on its desktop stand and with the mic brought closer using the boom arm, similar to the Tonor's position. Compare the differences in audio quality and let me know which setup you prefer.

After listening back to these samples myself, I do have a personal favorite, but I do not want to influence your opinions. I am trusting your feedback to make the best choice.

Once again, I return to the Tonor mic for a final comparison. Please let me know in the comments which microphone delivers better sound quality in your opinion. I am aiming to make my decision by the end of this weekend.

Thank you all for your help and feedback. Live long and prosper, my friends.
