There are no limits when you are surrounded by people who believe in you, or by people whose expectations are not set by the short-sighted attitudes of society, or by people who help to open doors of opportunity, not close them.

I want to take a moment to say thank you to all of the veterans out there. Your service, sacrifice, and dedication deserve our deepest respect and gratitude.

Now, some of you might be wondering why Veterans Day is on a Tuesday this year instead of giving us a three-day weekend. The reason is that Veterans Day always falls on November 11. That date marks the anniversary of the armistice that ended the fighting in World War I. It went into effect at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month back in 1918. Originally it was called Armistice Day, but in 1954 it was renamed Veterans Day to honor veterans of all wars.

And while we're talking about honoring veterans, I'm adding something new to the Computer Learning Zone website. If you are an active-duty or retired U.S. military veteran, I'd like to add a special badge to your account so you can proudly display that you're a veteran. Just contact me, and I'll make sure it gets added. It's my small way of saying thank you for your service.

And finally, to all the men and women who have worn the uniform, past and present, thank you for standing guard over the freedoms we often take for granted. Your courage, discipline, and sacrifice remind us that liberty comes at a cost. May we never forget that debt, and may we honor it not just today, but every day.

Transcript Hi everyone, Richard Rost from Computer Learning Zone here. I want to take a moment to say thank you to all of the veterans out there. Your service, sacrifice, and dedication deserve our deepest respect and gratitude.

Now, some of you might be wondering why Veterans Day is on a Tuesday this year instead of giving us a 3-day weekend. The reason is that Veterans Day always falls on November 11th. That date marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended the fighting in World War I. It went into effect at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month back in 1918.

Originally, it was called Armistice Day, but in 1954 it was renamed Veterans Day to honor veterans of all wars.

While we are talking about honoring veterans, I am adding something new to the Computer Learning Zone website. If you are an active duty or retired U.S. military veteran, I would like to add a special badge to your account so you can proudly display that you are a veteran. Just send me an email or drop me a line and I will make sure it gets added to your account. It is my small way of saying thank you for your service.

Finally, to all the men and women who have worn the uniform, past and present, thank you for standing guard over the freedoms we often take for granted. Your courage, discipline, and sacrifice remind us that liberty comes at a cost. May we never forget that debt and may we honor it not just today but every day.

Summary Today's Computer TechHelp tutorial from Computer Learning Zone is a special message in honor of Veterans Day. I want to start by expressing my sincere thanks to all veterans. Your service, sacrifice, and commitment deserve the highest respect and gratitude from all of us.

Some people might be wondering why Veterans Day sometimes falls in the middle of the week instead of giving us a long weekend. The answer is simple: Veterans Day is always observed on November 11th because it marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended the fighting in World War I. The armistice went into effect at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.

Originally, this holiday was called Armistice Day, but in 1954, the name was changed to Veterans Day so that we could honor veterans from all wars, not just World War I.

While we are on the topic of honoring those who have served, I am introducing a new feature on the Computer Learning Zone website. If you are an active duty or retired member of the U.S. military, I would like to add a special badge to your account. This badge is a way for you to proudly display your veteran status in our community. Just send me an email or reach out to me, and I will make sure the badge is added to your profile. It is just a small gesture to show my appreciation for everything you have done.

To all the men and women who have served in uniform, both past and present, I want to say thank you. You have stood guard over the freedoms that many of us often take for granted. Your bravery, discipline, and willingness to sacrifice remind us that freedom is not free. May we always remember the cost paid and honor that commitment every day, not just once a year.

You can find a complete video tutorial with step-by-step instructions on everything discussed here on my website at the link below. Live long and prosper, my friends.
