I found the Beginner 1 lesson on YouTube back in June/July 2024. This was the first time I'd found ANY video tutorials that I could enjoy and truly learn from. I had done a course on Udemy some years ago, and I do sometimes look back at it, but while the content was good, the instructor was very dry and taught in a very monotonous tone.
With Richard's lessons, everything is laid out simply so that even the most difficult topics are easy to digest and the site makes it easy to find which lesson(s) include that information you already watched but need a refresher on.
And the references to Star Trek and other cool sci-fi shows and good music make it more like a friendly study group or book club than classes.
Well worth staying on board for the "... continuing mission to build better databases..."
Haha... I just noticed the hull registry number on your starship. Nice touch! :)

Glad you approve.. I asked AI to make me a starship in the style of Star Trek with the name USS Learning Zone Registry number NCC 599 CD orbiting a dark red planet (representing access). Of course it struggled with the text... put a bunch of gibberish on the planet (that is the cloudy section i tried to edit) and left off the registry.
Just glad it got a chuckle and not rotten tomato, lol
