The following image came up in my Facebook memories today. It's a complaint that I posted on Facebook about how much they suck. This is from back in 2014, so it's 11 years old. And I haven't spent any money on Facebook since. Trust me, if it worked, if they didn't have these shady policies, I would have spent a lot of money on Facebook, but no.
The notes on the image speak for themselves. After promoting my Facebook page in my videos and on my website and sending my customers there, I managed to get 1292 people that liked the page. Whenever I posted something like a notice about a new video, it would reach 11 of those people (11 out of over 1200) - that's less than 1%. To reach more of them, I had to pay. What's the point of setting up the page in the first place? Like I say in the comments on the image, there's no option just to promote it to my followers. I have to promote it to my followers and their friends. As you guys know, Microsoft Access is an extremely tight niche. It's not like the friends of people who are Access fans are assumed to like Access, so it's just an overall dumb system. It might have gotten better since then, but they pissed me off so bad I won't ever find out because I'm not doing it anymore.
