Just a funny story (well I thought so). I had a couple or 3 automated voice phone calls saying they were my bank fraud department. Rightly or wrongly (wrongly as it turns out), I hung up each time assuming they were scam calls. Today though, trying to buy a Christmas present online, my payment was refused. A call to my bank revealed that my account had been frozen, the reason, a dodgy payment (as they saw it), to some “599CD” company in America, was the cause. Of course I explained that it was renewal of my Gold Membership, that I was more than happy to pay. I don’t know what this says about modern life ( perhaps more about coping with modern life at my age) but hey, I thought it may amuse our revered Captain, for a moment.

Who said that the Brits were not conservative enough? lol
Sounds about right. My company name trips more bank alarms than a teenager buying booze at 2 AM. I can practically hear the fraud department gearing up like, "Alert! Alert! Someone is trying to give this man money again!" Tell them not to worry... if I were running a scam, I promise I'd come up with a much better name than 599CD. And probably charge a lot more.
