I am trying to have 2 cells to enter soc sec #'s twice to verify they are entered correct. If the 2 cells do not match I do not want to let them move off that cell or save the file. Is there an onfocus & off focus of a cell that you can write code to verify the cells are correct before they move forward to the next cell?

Yes, you could do this with some custom VBA programming. I couldn't tell you how to do it off the top of my head, but it is definitely possible.
