any ideas? Excel ver.2003, File, Open - Open window take a long long time to show or populate the files. (this is a mapped drive) I noticed the Files of Type are *.xls; *.xlt; *.htm; *.html and so on - but if I change the File of Type to All files (*.*) it opens very quick, the response is fast.
Question: Is there a way to change the default for File Type to open? Maybe in Registry?
