In either Access or Excel. Trying to figure out how best to allocate people to sessions based on their preference. Each person has given their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd preference sessions. I want to go down the list of people, check if their 1st preference session is available (not already allocated to someone else), if so then allocate them to that session, but if it's not available then check if their 2nd preference is available, and so on. I assume some sort of loop in VBA, or could Office Scripts work for this (and how?)? Thanks for any help.
