Classic Shell
Graham

Dear Richard,
I am afraid I was trying to implement the installation of ClassicShell when things went horribly wrong and I now need some advice to restore the situation. I was following your Windows 8 Lesson 11. I was on track following your instructions down to the point when you created  Rick s Toolbar .
What happened next was that I just couldn t move the tool bar to the extreme left as you requested in the video. No matter what I did, it would not move. It did appear that I did capture it with the mouse, but it wouldn t shift. I thought it may have somehow been the icons along that bar at the bottom of the screen that were preventing the Rick s Bar from going over their top, so I unpinned them. Unfortunately, and I don t know how I did this, but the two moveable  markers dividing the bar also disappeared. And I am left with a bit of embarrassment.
I am 72 years old so was not brought up on a diet of computers. I am not really tech savvy. Would you mind giving me some pointers as to how I can return my computer to the situation you described in Lesson 11, with a task bar along the lower screen border.
Yours sincerely.
Graham
