I have the first 10 movies on DVD which I once watched within 24 hours (one 20-minute break halfway through).

That's pretty sweet. I've already purchased all of the movies and most of the series three times over. I bought them on VHS when they first came out, bought them again on DVD when they first came out, and paid for a couple of them on streaming.
Paramount has made more than enough money off me. I'm pretty sure they're all sitting in my streaming folder now, ready to watch from the TV. I'm not spending more money on more stuff from them right now. I don't just have a stockpile of them - I have a stockpile in multiple formats.
I still remember bringing home "The Best of Both Worlds" on VHS. That was awesome.

I'm also one of those people who buy the same movies multiple times, especially when new restorations and/or a new media formats come out. Since the advent of 4K TVs, many old films have got new 4K restorations. Some don't show much improvement other than the increased resolution (and the addition of HDR), but some show a marked improvement in picture quality.
