Miscellaneous Question: @ Voice to text transmission programs!!! Richard, you mention all the time that you use voice to text translation but you never mention the product's name or how we can take a look and maybe try it out. if there is a legal issue about mentioning a single product please mention a couple of voice to text programs that we could take a look at. That Shouldn't be a problem should it? . personally I would love to know more about it 'cause I use the regular Microsoft product sending entire time I'm using it I get a warning message on top the screen that this product is not supported by Microsoft or something to that effect. So you told us this is one of the best "and inquiring minds want to know" so please share your knowledge about voice to text programs available to us --thanks for your help and concern, Roy
and you've told me this one is one of the best, so I like to know more about it thanks so much for your interest and reply. Roy
Hi Roy. I think I answered you in an email before. Yeah, I'm not too happy with Microsoft's dictation software. I've also tried Dragon and that left me wanting too. My favorite is Google's voice rec for Android, but that's not available for PC. Surprisingly, the software that I use the most is a plugin for Google Chrome (the web browser) called Dictation for Gmail. It's free, light, simple, and easy to use. Granted, it only works in Gmail, but that's no problem. I mostly use it for email, and if you want to put the text somewhere else, just copy and paste it.
