When countblank is used in ranges that include merged cells, the merged cell causes errors. For example, if B1 and B2 are merged, and then something is entered into B1 and B3 (the only two cells in this range now), COUNTBLANKB1:B3) returns "1." Is there a way to count the "true" number of blank cells in this range (i.e., zero)?
