It will be nice for to have an expiry date alert. There are some documents people may want to track expiry date like passport or other documents that need to be updated from time to time. Checking for every one in the database will be very hard and may loose track of expired documents in the database.
That's not a bad idea. I could definitely add that.

I would like in large green letters "Need's to be updated" across the face of a license (photo ID) if it will expire before a certain date. And in large red letters "EXPIRED" if it has expired. I know you can run a report or query, but a quick visual reference would be good.
