I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to make access open up clean like a custom software (no access UI, just my form). The best I was able to figure out was using tabbed windows and maximizing with hiding everything. It opens up clean with no ribbons/clutter just like a custom program would, the form is 100% of the access window. Not sure if there's a better option, but I decided against doing this because of needing to use buttons to navigate along forms instead of just exiting them when finished like you can with overlap. Maybe this is an option if you build it this way from scratch, i didn't want to redo everything.
