Richard...One more question please! I instslled a 20" wide screen monitor on my 6 year old Dell Dimension 4700. I had to correct the resolution as to not distort my Photoshop photos. Now that the distortion is corrected the text in Windows xp was too small so I enlarged it. The text in an e-mail is still too small and the correected text in the menus ect. bar is too "skinny" and weak. Would going to a more powerful graphics correct this?

Answer from Richard Rost:

You probably need to upgrade your VIDEO CARD (display adapter). I just recently had the same thing happen to me. I bought a new 22" wide screen monitor a few months ago and plugged it into my 3-year old home-built desktop. The video card that I had in that machine only supported resolutions up to 1280x1024… none of which looked very good, nor supported widescreen formats. The good news: new video cards are only about $40 to $60. Call Dell.
