HI Richard,
i have two sheets with one common column. Sheet1 (with columns ID, email)& Sheet2 (with column ID).
I have to copy the email column in sheet1 to sheet2 by matching the respective ID column in both the sheets.
can you please suggest me how to do this? Answer from Richard Rost:
That is the perfect use for the VLOOKUP function, just make sure you use the 4th optional parameter (FALSE) to do an exact match. Here's a tutorial that teaches you how to use VLOOKUP:
