I have tried embedding html between the asp open and close tags, adding style in the html body, and using the css file to center the table.

I can not get anything to work.  ??

What code did you try?

not sure that I understand? which html tags outside the ASP....if you are talking about the style, I did. and also within the asp directives.

if you mean "response.write" as you show in the box, aren't they within asp directives?

I am unfortunately very literal ....so bear with me.

Your TABLE would need a css class or a style adding with a centre on it

I think your code is all fine. The problem is with your include directive. It should always be from the ROOT of the web, so you need a leading forward-slash.

style="border:1px solid black;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto;"

a.  response.write "<table class='"center"'>" this didnt work on line 87
b at line  29 inside the head:  <style> Table.center { margins-left: auto; margins-right: auto}
c.  i used  para b in the .css style file.
d. the table is within a div medkeacontent, and I styled the div in the css

para a always bombed...i think the the double quotes may have been the problem

Make a simple HTML file, no ASP.
Create a static TABLE and get your code working there first.
Then move it into your ASP code.
