I have a OneDrive folder on my hard drive which I want my partner to access on their local OneDrive folder. I have done this in the past but cannot remember how to do it. Recipients can access data by accessing the cloud, but I dont want that. I want them to have it stored locally. In this way we both see the folder locally and rely on OneDrive syncing the folder between us. I know this can be done because I set up a shared OneDrive folder with my son. I live in England and my son is 6000 miles away in Hong Kong. He sees my folder on his OneDrive folder on his local hard drive and I see it on my local hard drive. Either of us can put stuff in our local OneDrive folder and it gets synced to the other persons local hard drive. Does anyone know how to set this up, please? Any help is much appreciated.
When you install the OneDrive app I'm sure there's setting you can configure to say which folders are sync'd locally and which are only ever through the web.
Yeah, since this was posted in the General forum and he didn't mention Access at all, I assumed just regular files. But Scott's right. Don't share an Access database over OneDrive. I'm actually making a video about this soon since it comes up ALL THE TIME.

Richard - Maybe I read into that to much. Big difference between Access the database program and access - allow admittance to.
