I would love the ability to bookmark a certain post or thread of posts - not just videos. There are times where you or some of the other contributors provide a useful solution in the forums that I think, "I need to remember that".
I would also like to see a video showing how we could add something similar to OUR databases.

Oh I like the idea to bookmark a post, that would be useful.
So you basically want to bookmark pages and threads. There are already "Link" links available to take people directly to those. But I can add a feature so you can add those links to your bookmarks if you want. I'll put it on my list for development.
Scott: what do you mean by "add something similar to OUR databases?"

Poor choice of words I guess. What I meant was the bookmark just for my use.
If I found xxx post particularly useful saving it as a personal bookmark so I could easily find it again.
Example when I asked about not setting a default button. MsgBox No Default Button I had a heck of a time finding it again because I didn't remember the subject line. That is a post I would bookmark but it might not be useful to some one else.
I am watching the Appointments Extended video. I do not see a button below the video to save a bookmark. It does not automatically save a bookmark when I pause the video. Are bookmark available only while watching Lessons?

Larry -
I can confirm that that video doesn't have the bookmark. So you are not not seeing things. ( LOL )
Any videos that still use the YouTube player won't allow bookmarks. I'm still in the process of switching them all over.

All the Tech Help and Lessons I watch are in the 599cd website. I do not watch any using YouTube. Are some of the videos in the 599cd site originally recorded in YouTube?
To tell, if you hover over the rectangular play arrow and it goes red - it is still hosted on YouTube. and doesn't have the bookmark.
Those hosted here have a round play arrow.
As Richard said above - He's still working on converting them to just his site. Just having a little tiny idea of his schedule that could be any where between weeks and months to do.
Meanwhile you will just have to go the old fashioned route and take notes.
You could even make a little project for yourself and create a little database to house the info you are wanting to store for future reference. That will give you useful data and a chance to practice what you are learning.
I just switched over THAT specific video. You'll see the difference now. When I first started TechHelp, I had the intention of leaving those videos just on YouTube, so I used their embedded player. Then, after I decided to upgrade my video player, I started moving everything over to my video server. I intend on eventually moving ALL of the videos locally, but it's a slow, manual process.
