I began back when there were only mainframes and typewriter terminals with a phone cradle, and punch tape. Then, we moved to punch cards where we were introduced to Fortran and COBOL. Next, desktop computers were introduced with DBase III and Lotus 123. For the past two decades, I've focused on IT security, instead of programming. Now retired, I'm re-imaging myself with designing webpages and databases. With my background, I don't have any issues with the logic involved, it's just the programming and that's where Richard shines as an excellent instructor.
